Interaction Designer

Lesley Fleishman came to design by combining an early love of fine art with later interests in visual communications, social sciences, and business. After receiving a BFA in Visual Communications at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, she worked for more than five years as a designer in New York and Paris, focusing on packaging design, merchandising design, branding, and luxury product development. In Fall 2007 Lesley returned to school to pursue a Master of Design in Interaction Design at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Here she is exploring the interactions between things, people, and environments through an intensive curriculum of theory, practice, and production. Lesley's combined past professional experiences and current academic pursuits makes her uniquely suited to planning, leading, and executing a collaborative, user-centered design process, resulting in the design and development of innovative products and services.
